Eight years ago I was diagnosed with arthritis in my hip. I joined Lorraine’s Pilates class to maintain the level of mobility I had. Six months later I received my hip replacement and the consultant gave me permission to return to the class two months after the operation.
Lorraine’s class makes a huge difference to my physical fitness and therefore my quality of life. She has a friendly, bubbly personality and makes everyone feel welcome. She explains each exercise very clearly and gives a demonstration. She gives us the option of three levels of difficulty so we can work at our own pace. If necessary she will give us an alternative too.
I have been able to build up my core strength and flexibility and can comfortably work at the medium level. I have realised that I benefit from doing 15 minutes in a morning between her sessions. Lorraine’s class has become an essential part of my life for the improvement it gives to my physical well-being. I can certainly recommend it.
